Chicks Who Rock
This past month has been a blast performing for Chicks Who Rock. I got to share the stage with so many talented, empowering women! We had rehearsals all month long and I enjoyed the journey because it gave me a chance to become friends with some of the most talented musicians who are women. I've always wanted an all girl band and this performance gave me a chance to see what it would be like. As we all know, the music industry is heavily dominated by men and most musicians I've worked with are of course, men. I have nothing against guys, don't get me wrong, it was a breath of fresh air to be able to perform with women for a show that was put together by women. We totally rocked that stage!
This wasn't even a quarter of the chicks that rocked the stage that night! I can tell you though, these chicks are some badass musicians!
