Pop/EDM Song in Time for Summer

Spoiler Alert!!! "Alive” my new Pop/EDM song is coming out soon! Yes…I know…it’s been awhile since I released anything… 

A little backstory…this song has taken me on a wild ride and took on so many different forms. It’s been quite the musical journey! Originally, I wrote “Alive” as a pop/rock song however it’s shaped from acoustic style to 80s rock vibes which was not the direction I envisioned for it. I went back to the drawing board several times before arriving where it’s currently at and I'm super proud of it. I’ve performed “Alive” twice, live, in two different ways and have gotten great crowd reactions on both. I have other songs marinating that I could have released in the mean time, but I like the music to speak to me and tell me when it’s ready. Music to me is medicine for the soul and a feeling. If the song doesn’t make me feel in some sort of way, then it’s not ready and I won’t force it. 

With that being said, I’m very excited to share “Alive” when it is officially released so stay tuned!
